Colca Canyon Itinerary

• Hotel pick-up time: 07:30 a.m. to 08:00 a.m.
• Tour return schedule: 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Day 01: Arequipa Chivay.

• 7:30 to 8:00 am Mobility passes through the different hotels to start our trip to one of the deepest canyons in the world, taking the Yura road, bordering the snowy Chachani towards Pampa Cañahuas (Aguada Blanca and Salinas National Reserve ) habitat of the beautiful South American camelids, the vicunas. In the bofedales of Tocra we can appreciate a variety of migratory birds, among which are the flamingos. We will pass through the crater of an extinct volcano (Chucura). We will stop at the viewpoint of the volcanoes, which is also the highest area of ​​the road (4,800 m.a.s.l.) from where we will appreciate much of the western mountain range.
• 13:30 to 14:00 Approximately, Arrival to Chivay
• Hotel installation
• Lunch (on behalf of the passenger)
• 17:00 In the afternoon we will enjoy the thermal baths in La Calera whose thermal medicinal waters range between 35º to 38º degrees Celsius in the pools.
• 20:00 dinner accompanied by a folk show.

Day 2: Chivay, Cruz del Cóndor, Chivay and Arequipa.

• 06:00 Continental breakfast
• 06:30 We will go to the viewpoint of the cross of the condor, strategic observation point of the canyon and the spectacular flight of the condor. On the way back we will stop in the villages of Pinchollo, Maca and Yanque; that have beautiful colonial churches, as well as in the viewpoints of choquetico and antahuilque, from where we will observe the impressive andenería of the valley, the pre-Inca tombs and models.

• 13:00 Return to the city of Arequipa
